Morden Hall Wedding Photography - Krissi and Phil
Wedding Photography at Morden Hall
On a radiant May afternoon, love was truly in the air as Krissi and Phil tied the knot in the charming St Mary’s Church in Merton Park. With the sun beaming down and blossoms in full bloom, their wedding day was nothing short of magical.
Krissi and her bridal party started the day at Morden Hall which has stunning areas for bridal prep with fantastic light. They headed to St Mary’s, with its timeless architecture and peaceful surroundings, provided the perfect setting for a heartfelt ceremony. Friends and family gathered in celebration, filling the church with warmth, laughter, and a few happy tears as Krissi and Phil exchanged vows.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to the stunning Morden Hall for the reception. Nestled in the heart of South London, Morden Hall is a hidden gem surrounded by lush parkland and the gentle flow of the River Wandle. On such a sunny day, the gardens came alive, offering a picturesque backdrop for photos, drinks, and joyful mingling.
The reception was a beautiful blend of elegance and fun. Guests enjoyed delicious food, heartfelt speeches, and dancing that carried on into the evening. The sunshine lingered long enough for golden hour portraits, capturing Krissi and Phil in the soft glow of their first sunset as a married couple.
From the emotional ceremony to the laughter-filled reception, every moment of Krissi and Phil’s wedding day was a testament to their love and the joy they bring to those around them. It was a day to remember, and one that will be cherished by all who were lucky enough to be part of it.
Here’s to a lifetime of sunshine, laughter, and love for Krissi and Phil!

Hurtwood Park Polo Club Wedding Photography - Megan & Sam
Hurtwood Park Polo Club Wedding Photography
Nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Cranleigh, Hurtwood Park Polo Club stands as a testament to elegance and refined taste. It was here, amidst the rolling hills and the spirited ambiance of polo, that I had the honor of capturing a love story that unfolded against the backdrop of equine grace and sprawling greenery.
I knew from Megan and Sam's background from working in events that this was going to be an epic wedding and it sure was. The entertainment was up there with the best I've ever experienced and the dance floor was absolutely rocking!
Megan started the day in Guildford with her bridesmaids and family. It was really special capturing such intimate moments.
Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Cranleigh is not just a venue; it's an experience. The melding of polo excitement, equestrian elegance, and the sophisticated Pavilion creates a wedding day backdrop that is unparalleled in its beauty. As a wedding photographer, I was captivated by the unique charm of Hurtwood Park Polo Club, and feel privileged to have documented a love story that unfolded amidst the grace and grandeur of this extraordinary venue.
I'd love to return to Hurtwood Park polo club so if you're looking for a wedding photographer who specialises in relaxed documentary style weddings mixed in with some stunning portraits then please get in touch.
Matt and Kristen's Summer Wedding at Horsley Towers
A beautiful summer wedding at Horsley Towers
Horsley Towers owned by the De-Vere group is a wonderful 19th century Tudor styled mansion set in 50 acres of stunning grounds. It really is a fairytale setting for a wedding and every surrey wedding photographer's dream for places to photograph.
Matt and Kristen live in California so we didn't get a chance to meet until the day but after numerous very early zoom meetings we had a great rapport going. Matt grew up in the UK so this was a homecoming for him while Kristen's friends and family came all the way over from the states.
The rooms at Horsley Towers have so much natural light which is great for the bridal party while they are getting ready for the day ahead.
Time flies as everyone knows on a wedding day, it wasn't long before Kristen was being led downstairs to the Great Hall where Matt was waiting.
While the guests tucked into the most amazing looking canapés I whisked the guys off for a little tour of the estate. With all its medieval architecture and timeless appeal, the Towers at Horsley Towers are a photographer's playground. The stone walls, winding staircases, and hidden nooks create a sense of mystery and drama.
There was so much incredible looking food, the team at Horsley are very skilled at putting on a fabulous spread. After the food we had some hilarious and very heartfelt speeches before a very romantic first dance that started the evening celebrations that went on way into the night. Congratulations to Matt and Kerstin for organising such a wonderful day. Get in touch if you're organising your own wedding in Surrey.

Littlefield Manor Wedding Photography
Late summer wedding at Littlefield Manor
It seems like an eternity ago when I first spoke with Jennifer. I couldn't have imagined back then how much fun this wedding was going to be. Like many weddings this year this was third time lucky. The two other dates the weather was awful and for the actual wedding date it was glorious, hallelooya!
Jennifer was with the girls in the picturesque Running Horses pub and was made to feel so welcome from the start. I could sense the love in the air for Jennifer as soon as I arrived. Jennifer has alopecia and told me on the run up to the wedding that she was undecided whether she would wear a wig for the actual wedding. She decided to do some portraits in the morning to show what it meant to wear her wedding dress in the face of alopecia and I was so glad she did and was honoured to do the photos. Oli meanwhile in the morning was nearby at his parents home with his family and groomsmen. It didn't seem long at all till we were all at the church.
