Summer Wedding at Pembroke Lodge
It felt so good to be photographing at Pembroke Lodge again in the summer sunshine. The grounds and gardens here are so good whatever time of the year. I love that year on year the flowers change complementing the views which are spectacular. Paul and Julia looked absolutely fantastic, so elegant and smart. They looked like movie stars!
My day started with Julia at the finishing touches of her makeup, the vibrancy and colours of her outfit were gorgeous. The level of detail on Julia’s hands was outstanding.
Belvedere Suite Weddings
The Belvedere suite here at Pembroke Lodge is a light magnet! Basically whatever the weather you get great light which is a massive plus for your photography. Julia was accompanied down the isle by her mum and blew all the guests away with how stunning she looked. Paul was keeping it very cool at the business end of the Belvedere. The registrars for Surrey are amazing and it was a beautiful and entertaining ceremony which ended in a stream of confetti as our couple came back down the isle.
Did I mention how stunning the grounds were looking, it’s worth mentioning again! I took the newly weds for a short walk in the grounds to get a few portraits
With Julia heading for an outfit change it was a chance for some last minute speech rehearsing form Paul. It was no suprise when he nailed it. It wasn’t a surprise either that Julia looked stunning when she changed outfit either. It was a touching moment having Paul see her as she walked round the corner of the lodge. After a great meal and some heartfelt speeches I had a chance to take the guys out for another little walk before ending with drinks on the terrace.
